Safeguarding Review Panel…
In June this year, the team working on Eileen Munro’s safeguarding review panel were revealed. The panel will be repsonsible for an in-depth review into child protection system, looking at ways to cut red tape in an effort to “remove the barriers which prevent social workers spending valuable time with vulnerable children”.
They will also look at issues of morale among social worker, and public confidence in the sector. The findings of the panel are already being greatly anticipated, with their interim report due in January 2011, followed by a final report in April 2011.
Child Protection Survey…
