Poll Results: Social workers want to “make a difference”

A poll on our homepage has shown that the feeling of ‘making a difference to people’s lives’, is among the most important factors for social workers in their professional life

We asked “Which is the most important factor for you in your work”, and the responses were as follows…

  • Feeling I’ve made a difference – 41.4%
  • Job satisfaction – 37.9%
  • Earning a good wage - 10.3%
  • Variety in my work  – 6.9%
  • Professional development – 3.4%
