What can be done to attract new recruits into social work jobs? This is one of the questions we asked in a recent survey of managers and practitioners…
Our results showed that many managers are finding it difficult to fill the vacancies in their teams, and explored the possible solutions there could be fro this. The research has been reported by Community Care today (click here to read the article).
One of the key issues to be raised was the need to improve the public image of the profession, making it a more appealing prospect for those considering a career as a social worker. Liquid’s managing director, Jon Coxon, discussed this issue in a recent guest blog for the Guardian.
