Charity push raises money for vulnerable children in Manchester…
20th June 2011
In May this year, 5 of our staff took part in the Great Manchester Run, taking on a 10km course through the city.
The group took on the challenge in aid of local radio station Key 103′s “Cash for Kids” charity, encouraging colleagues, friends and family to sponsor their efforts.
We’re very happy to announce that they raised a total of £950 for this incredibly worthy cause. We would like to thank everyone who sponsored the team or donated money to the appeal online; your contributions have been very gratefully received, and will be directly benefiting vulnerable young people in the North West.
Also, a huge well done to our 5 runners, all of whom completed the 10km course, with only a few blisters and some tired legs to contend with at the end. We know that some of them have caught the fitness bug and are continuing with their training, although others are still enjoying their “well-earned rest”!
