Coldplay secretly funded “Kids Company” children’s care charity…

ColdplayThe band Coldplay have revealed that they have been funding the children’s charity “Kids Company” for the last four years.  These details were published in an article in the Guardian over the weekend.

“Kids Company” works in the most deprived areas of London, and was established in 1996.  Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin commented:  “Kids Company is a phenomenal organisation that is very close to our hearts.”

This coming Saturday, the band will be continuing their support of the charity by hosting a special benefit concert at the O2 Arena in London.
