Social Work Survey: The Munro Review…
Key Findings:
- 38% of social workers said they felt the Munro Review was a positive step in improving delivery of children’s social work services. However, 43% said they were ‘unsure’ about this.
- When asked how easy it would be to implement the recommendations of the Munro review effectively given the current economic climate, 65% thought it would be ‘Quite Difficult’, and 24% thought it would be ‘Very Difficult’.
The recommendations of Professor Eileen Munro’s review of the child protection system have generally been welcomed, but it remains to be seen whether the government will be able to put them into practice.
