Alex’s story
Background
Alex joined Liquid in 2015 as a fresh graduate, after completing a degree in history from the University of Leicester. He had no previous knowledge of recruitment or sales but demonstrated the raw talent to do well at Liquid. He joined our London & South East team as a Trainee Consultant.
Liquid Academy
When Alex started, he was enrolled on to the Liquid Academy’s ‘Foundation Programme’, which gave him all the basic skills and knowledge to begin his career in recruitment. He then went on to be actively involved in the Liquid Academy as an Approved Training Consultant and now holds masterclasses on specialist skills.
Progression
Alex proved to be an asset to the company, becoming the fastest consultant to get to 50 contractors in 17 months. After just two years at Liquid, he achieved three promotions and is now Principal Recruitment Consultant. After five years’ service, he became the first consultant on our London desk to achieve 70 contractors! Alex’s success didn’t go unnoticed, winning our ‘Consultant of the Year’ award in 2019.
