The workshop will introduce human factors and target specific problems such as briefing, adherence to policy and checklists, and how being human influences safety.
It will discuss breach of duty of care, giving attendees insight into real-life case reviews and providing advice on protecting yourself from a duty of care breach.
It will provide an overview of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and provide insight into the incident investigation process, procedures, and reporting.
Plus, the event will count as 90 minutes of CPD, and you’ll get a certificate of attendance after the event for your records.

Trevor Dale, Managing Director, Atrainability and former British Airways pilot
Trevor spent 34 years as a commercial pilot with British Airways, flying across the world. He enjoyed two years seconded to Kuwait Airways, living in the Gulf in the 1980s. From 1991, he was a training captain delivering human factors training in the classroom, simulator, and on 747s. After retiring from flying, he developed his training skills, specialising in healthcare. And for over 20 years, he’s been delivering courses and coaching across all healthcare specialities
