EHCP Co-ordinator - Croydon - Up to £32.50 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced EHCP Co-ordinator to join a fantastic team in Croydon. The successful candidate must have previous experience as a EHC Plan Writer, as well as experience completing annual reviews.

Duties as an EHCP Co-ordinator:

* Responsible for ensuring effective and timely assessments, drafting and issuing of quality EHCPs within the statutory timeframes
* Ensuring annual reviews take place within statutory timescales, reassessments are conducted as necessary and children and young people are supported to achieve their outcomes
* The case load will be determined through the education setting and will require collaborative working with the early years/school/post 16 settings
* EHC Assistants will support the Coordinators with the administration of this work

Essential requirements of this EHCP Co-ordinator role:

* Excellent management skills, related to case management and management of statutory deadlines
* Experienced EHC Plan writer
* Experienced in completing annual reviews
* Able to manage a caseload of between 160-180 children
* The applicant will need to be resilient and be able to cope with the day to day demands of the job
* Work well within a team and collaborate effectively
* Understand the EHCP process and the relevant legislation (Code of Practice 2015 and the Children and Families Act 2014)
* Be able to communicate effectively with parents, schools and practitioners through a variety of media e.g. phone, email, letter, virtual presence
* The legal right to work in the UK
