Educational Psychologist - North of England - Pay Negotiable

We are currently looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join a fantastic service in the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has post qualified experience as an Educational Psychologist in a variety of contexts, including some SEN experience.

The successful Educational Psychologist will ensure the provision of a high quality of educational psychology service for children, families, schools and other establishments concerned with children within a given area of the County. They will also develop particular knowledge, skills and experience in the field of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Duties as an Educational Psychologist:

* To ensure the provision of a high quality of educational psychology service for children, families, schools and other establishments concerned with children within a given area of the County
* To develop particular knowledge, skills and experience in the field of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Effective communication and engagement with children, young people and their families and carers
* Communicate effectively with all children, young people, families and carers
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people that you are responsible for and come into contact with

Essential requirements of this Educational Psychologist role:

* HCPC registered Educational Psychologist
* Ability to offer a range of assessment & intervention procedures appropriate to young children, including those with particular disabilities
* Ability to provide consultation to colleagues and clients
* Ability to offer training to colleagues and clients
* To provide advice and statutory assessment
* To contribute to review and monitoring procedures in relation to individuals
* The legal right to work in the UK
