Social Worker - Child Exploitation Team - Warwickshire - £32,234 - £34,728 per annum

Part time hours

We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join the Child Exploitation Team in Warwickshire.

The successful Social Worker will be required to provide a local professional social care service for children, young people, and families in need. The successful applicant will need to manage a case load of "children in need" "at risk of significant harm and / or "looked after," adhering to legislative and procedural requirements, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children concerned.

Duties as a Social Worker:

* Ensure an effective multi agency response to the prevention and protection of children at risk of exploitation
* It is essential that you have the assessment skills to review new and existing referrals and risk assessment where children are considered to be at risk of exploitation
* You will need to have a good understanding of contextual safeguarding and determine level of risk and interventions required for young people and their families
* You will be required to arrange mapping meetings and to ensure that young people have disruption plans in place to support a reduction in their risks

Essential requirements of this Social Worker role:

* Social Work qualified with post qualifed experience in children's services
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
