Assistant Team Manager - Social Worker - First Response and Duty Team - South London - Up to £36 per hour

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting an Assistant Team Manager (social work qualified) to join the First Response and Duty Team based in South London.

As an Assistant Team manager, you will provide professional leadership and support to a team of qualified and unqualified staff within a multidisciplinary team whilst ensuring practice standards remain high and that services are delivered appropriately to adults, including those with complex needs and those where statutory intervention is required.

Duties of this Assistant Team Manager role:

* To provide professional supervision for the Social Workers in the Locality Team
* To deputise in the absence of the Health and Social Care Locality Team Manager for certain agreed responsibilities, including providing supervision and guidance as appropriate to the OT, Senior Social Worker and Health staff within the team.
* To hold a caseload of a high level of complexity and provide case management, guidance, support and expert advice to social care staff, students, and partner staff as and when required, so as to maintain the highest level of professional service
* To ensure that support plans and other information regarding individual care packages is shared with the service user, carers and other agencies as required and within the Department's policy on confidentiality
* Any other duties which are in line with the grade and general level of responsibility of the post

Requirements as an Assistant Team Manager include:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience within adults' services
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
