Social Work - Team Manager - Referral & Assessment - Medway - up to £52,658 per annum + benefits

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the Referral & Assessment Team based in Medway.

As a Team Manager you will lead a team of experienced social workers, early help workers and other staff to ensure the correct procedures are implemented which support positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

The successful candidate will have significant social work experience, be able to evidence good leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering good outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Duties as a Referral & Assessment Team Manager include:

* Assist people to resolve major difficulties in their lives and to enhance their independence and coping skills.
* Work within current legislation and Council policy, procedures and practice to assess, commission and review services, including planned interventions, for a specific client group.
* Work within the statutory guidance and policy/procedural framework to assist in protecting those who are at risk or vulnerable.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of workable systems to ensure quality of service across the city and the identification of people particularly at risk.
* Work positively with colleagues in the statutory and independent sector to ensure an appropriate multi-agency approach, and to empower clients to speak for themselves

Requirements as a Referral & Assessment Team Manager include:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
