CAMHS Practitioner - Band 6 - Doncaster - £28 per hour

An experienced CAMHS Practitioner is required to join a fantastic team in Doncaster. As a successful CAMHS Practitioner, you will provide clinical interventions to children and young people who are struggling with mental health difficulties, or who are at high risk of suicide, life threatening self-harm or other mental health issues that are deemed urgent.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled and dedicated team. They require a CAMHS Practitioner who is flexible and adaptable, in order to respond to the diverse and demanding nature of the role.

Your duties as a CAMHS Practitioner will include:

* To work as a member of the CAMHS team and deliver care to a range of children, young people and families that require a CAMHS service
* To undertake safeguarding referrals when disclosures are made and to ensure this is followed up accordingly
* Work in partnership with external agencies thus ensuring that the needs of service users and carers are addressed in a proactive manner
* Work collaboratively with statuary & voluntary services to create a seamless transition process into and through the service
* To provide specialist evidence based mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people involved with the service

Essential requirements for the role of CAMHS Practitioner:

* Qualified Social Worker, RMN or Occupational Therapist
* Social Work England, NMC or HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
