Senior Social Worker / Social Worker - Children in Care (under 14s & Over 14s Teams)- Sandwell - £30,451 to £40,876 per annum

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior / Social worker for a role within a Children in Care for the under 14s & Over 14s Teams.

Our client has vacancies for Social Workers to join our Children in Care Teams within the newly realigned Operations Service. Based in a locality model with a focus on good quality assessments and dynamic planning which deliver timely evidence-based interventions and the progress of pre-proceedings/care proceedings through to permanency planning, this service will strengthen partnership working with families in local communities.

Duties of this Social Work Role:

* Work directly with disabled children
* Cover and support duty
* Carry out single assessments
* Undertake child protection work, children in care work and high-level child in need
* Work with a 'children first' approach
* Incorporate social inclusion principles, anti-oppressive practice, and person-centred ways

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
