Senior Practitioner - Family Safeguarding Team - Hertfordshire - up to £44,880 per annum

Liquid Personnel currently have an opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Team based in Hertfordshire.

The team in Hertfordshire is looking to expand its teams to cope with the growing demand within Social Work and is investing heavily in its people by providing training opportunities to help you to reach your full potential with the assistance and guidance of our specialist L&D teams.

The team are committed to developing motivational social work practice and you will be trained to work in this way. You will be working at the forefront of best practice to deliver first class support to vulnerable children and families which will expose you to managing complex and diverse caseloads.

Duties as a Family Safeguarding Team Senior Practitioner include:

* Leading less experienced staff.
* Play a key role in researching and sharing up to date social work practice alongside creating a clear vision for the future and ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families are realised.
* Excellent written and verbal skills is essential as you will need to prepare and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings.
* Case work in Assessments, Child Protection, Children Looked After and Care Proceedings and an in-depth knowledge of relevant childcare legislation is necessary to undertake work in this role effectively.

Requirements as a Family Safeguarding Team Senior Practitioner include:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
