Social Worker - Children in Care - Halton - £21.18p/h - Part Time    

A Social Worker is required to join the Children in Care Team in Halton. The successful social worker must have experience in placing children into long term care and completed reports for adoption hearings. As CIC Social Worker you able to work under pressure and effectively manage a full case load. Due to the nature of the role candidates must have a good knowledge of legislation and statutory procedures for children in care, adoption and care leavers.

The successful Child In Care Social Worker will have experience of: 
  • The ability to manage a full case load
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation 
  • Working with children in care and care leavers
  • Long term care planning for children in foster or residential care
  • Single Assessments 
  • Case conferences 
  • Attending LAC Reviews
  • Completed final stages of statutory work
  • Annex A reports 
 As a Child In Care Social Worker, you MUST be: 
  • HCPC registered 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • A full UK license holder
