Social Workers - Referral & Assessment / Child Protection - Nottinghamshire - £28.50 - £35ph

Our client in Nottinghamshire currently has some  vacancies available for experienced Social Workers to join their Duty/ Referral and Assessment team and child protection teams.  

The successful candidates must have recent experience of intake work undertaking C&F assessments & S47 enquires, completion of Court statements and Care plans including Section 7 & 37 reports & reports for child protection conference., You must have post qualified experience as a front line social worker and be able to work on your own initiative and be able to maintain a case load accordingly.

As a Referral and Assessment Social Worker, you will have experience of:        
  • Dealing with complex cases   
  • Working with children on the Child Protection Register and Children in Need   
  • Child protection Care proceedings   
  • Section 47s   
  • Initial Assessments   
  • Supervised contact   
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO) 
  • Single Assessments 
  • Chairing Child Protection conferences 
  • Child Protection meetings 
  • Case conferences 
  • Attending LAC Review
  • Risk Assessments   
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation                             
As a Referral and Assessment Social Worker you will be:      
  • HCPC registered
