Social Worker - Looked after Children / Leaving Care - Nottingham City - £28.50ph
Our Client in Nottingham City requires an experienced Social Worker to join their Looked after Children ( LAC ) Team.The successful applicant will be carrying a caseload of Looked after Children, initially working on a 3 months contract with strong view to extension. You will also be responsible for undertaking investigations, carrying out statutory work, Court Work, and engaging with service users.

As a Looked after Children ( LAC ) Social Worker your duties will include: 
  • Looked after Children Reviews 
  • Attending Court and Court Reports 
  • Statutory Visits and Tasks 
  • Planned Meetings 
  • Working with Plans of Adoption and Attending Adoption Panels 
  • Case Management
As a Looked after Children ( LAC ) Social Worker you will have experience of:   
  • Relevant legislation in relation to Adoption 
  • Completing work to timescales 
  • Liaising with Clients and Professionals/Agencies  
  • Managing a caseload  
As a Looked after Children Social Worker you will need to have:
  • HCPC registration  
  • Eligibility to work in the UK    
  • A full licence and use of your own vehicle
