Social Worker - Safeguarding and Assessment - Lancashire - £28ph 

Our client in Lancashire require an experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding and Assessment team. The successful applicant must have previous Child Protection/Safeguarding experience and be confident in court proceedings.

As a Social worker on this team, you should have experience in:
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Working with children on the Child Protection register, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Attending court and completing court work
  • Conducting Single assessments
  • Attending Child Protection meetings and conferences
  • Attending LAC reviews
As a Social Worker on this team, you MUST be:
  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally hold a full, UK driving licence
