Deputy Team Manager - Family Safeguarding Team - Luton - £34ph   

Our client in Luton requires an experienced Deputy Team Manager to join their Safeguarding team. The purpose of the role of the DTM is to work closely with the Team Manager in managing and directing teams within the Corporate Parenting Service, resources and budgets in order to recruit and assess foster carers and connected persons carers; identify and commission appropriate placements and match these to individual children's needs; and support foster carers to care for looked after children in accordance with legislative frameworks and local authority policies and procedures.

As a Children's Deputy Team Manager you will have experience of:  

  • Working on a duty desk  
  • Conducting section 47 investigation
  • Initial Assessments  
  • Liaising with clients and professionals  
  • Supervised contact  
  • Risk assessments  

You MUST be…    

  • HCPC registered 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • Full UK license holder
