Assistant Team Manager - Leaving Care - Torbay - up to £38p/h 

My client in Torbay requires a Assistant Team Manager to start as soon as possible with post-qualified experience in Leaving Care, and proven experience in management. We are ideally looking for a someone who can support an established Care Leavers service and to support practice development in line with a clear strategic action plan. They require someone to start as soon as possible.

The successful Assistant Team Manager will have experience of:
  • Supervision
  • Managing a team
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Working with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Children in Need.
  • Child Protection Care proceedings
  • Attending Court
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Chairing Child Protection conferences 
  • Child protection meetings
  • Case conferences
  • Attending LAC Reviews
  • Court Reports
  • Presenting evidence in court
  • Attending Reviews
As a Leaving Care Assistant Team Manager you will be:
  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
