Social Worker - Leaving Care - Wrexham - £31.15ph   
An experienced Social Worker is required to start within the Leaving Care team within Wrexham working with 16+. This unique opportunity is a chance for those who have worked within Child Protection or Looked after Children to develop and expand their skills. The successful Social Worker must be competent with court work and can effectively manage a complex case load. You are expected to be flexible when needed and have the ability to work under pressure.

The successful Leaving Care Social Worker will have experience of: 
  • Working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Child Protection Care proceedings
  • Attending Court
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Managing a complex caseload
  • Case conferences
  • Attending LAC Reviews
As a Leaving Care Social Worker, you must be:
  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a full, clean license
