Social Worker - Duty and Assessment - Tameside - £26.88ph           
An new opportunity has become available for an experienced Social Worker to join the Duty Team in Tameside. The successful candidate must have experience of managing a diverse caseload and have experience working within Child Protection. Due to the nature of the role  You will be expected to work under pressure and to think on your feet whilst acting accordingly. You must have experience with carrying out Section 47 investigations and conducting assessments.

The successful Duty and Assessment Social Worker will have experience of:       
  • Liaising with other professionals 
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation 
  • Working with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Children in Need. 
  • Attending Court 
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO) 
  • Single Assessments 
  • Chairing Child Protection conferences 
  • Child Protection meetings 
  • Case conferences 
  • Attending LAC Reviews 
  • Section 47s
  • Section 7s
  • Writing Court Reports
As a Duty and Assessment Social Worker within the team you MUST be:       
  • HCPC registered 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • A full UK license holder
