Social Worker - Leaving Care - Swindon - Up to £35 per hour

My client in Swindon is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a leaving care  team. The position requires a solid background in children social care and relevant experience in this in this field as well. The successful candidate will ideally also have good knowledge of safeguarding and mental health team experience would be beneficial. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working in a leaving care team, otherwise experience in Looked after children is also desirable.

As a leaving care social worker you will have experience of:

  • Working with Care Plans      
  • Ages/Human Rights assessments 
  • Dealing with Asylum and Leaving Care cases      
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Conducting statutory LAC Reviews    

As a Social Worker you MUST:

  • Be HCPC registered 
  • Be eligible to work in the UK 
  • Have a full UK license
