Team Manager - After Care/ Children in Care - Oldham - £35 per hour

A Team Manager is required to start within the Children in Care/After Care Team in Oldham. The successful candidate must have the ability to work under pressure and have experience and knowledge in After Care. This includes Children in Care, Care Leavers and Children in Need including Child protection. As a Team Manager you will be expected to allocate work appropriately, conduct formal supervision and help with the development of the service.

The successful Children in Care Team Manager will have experience of:

  • Working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Child Protection Care proceedings
  • Attending Court
  • Leaving Care
  • Child in Need/Child Protection
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Attending LAC Reviews
  • Supervising Social Workers
  • Observation, Assessment and Planning
  • Managing performance
  • Case Allocation
  • Offering Support to Newly qualified
  • Coming up with new ideas for development

As a Children in Care Team Manager you MUST be:

  • HCPC Registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a full UK license
