Social Worker - Looked After Children/Children in Care - Lancashire - £28 to £32 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced  Social Worker for a Looked After Children team within Lancashire. This team is a supportive team. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive team and an excellent pay rate.

Duties as a Looked After Children's Social Worker:

  • Conducting reviews
  • Dealing with adoption cases
  • Case management
  • Duty & Assessment
  • Supervising students
  • Undertaking child protection work
  • Attending case conferences
  • Preparing induction plans
  • Court work
  • Planning meetings
  • Dealing with parents
  • Undertaking Form F and Form E Assessments
  • Attending Adoption Panels
  • Managing a high level of cases including children in foster care, residential care or children who have been placed with parents
  • All children were either under Section 20 or care orders

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Previous post-qualified experience
