AMHP -  Adults Mental Health - Hammersmith & Fulham - £35-37p/h

An approved mental health practitioner is required to work for the adults mental health services in Hammersmith and Fulham, London. The main purpose of the role as an approved mental health practitioner is to complete mental health act assessments as and when required. Successful candidates must also be familiar with the care act and also be confident in mental health assessments.

As an Approved Mental Health Practitioner you will be expected to:

  • Manage a caseload
  • Co-ordinate care plans in line with the Care Programme Approach (CPA)
  • Carry out assessments of need
  • Manage risk
  • Maintain up to date records 
  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team including contributing to required duty rotas

  You MUST be: 

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
