Social Worker - Children's Permanence & Transitions - Devon - £38p/h

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a children's services social worker for a permanence and transitions team. This role will be based in Tiverton, Devon. 

Your main priority in this job role will be to support young people who are returning to their families. Securing permanence for these service users is essential to the team. You will also seek to provide post-order support to adopters, special guardians, and their children, adults affected by adoption, and to birth families.

Duties as a Children's Permanence and Transitions Social Worker include:

  • Completing combined family and friends and SGO assessment work
  • Attending court
  • Attending care planning meetings 
  • Attending regular meetings and reviews on behalf of the agency within the decision process   

As a qualified Social Worker, you MUST be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A full UK license holder
