Experienced Social Worker - Child Protection/Court - Rochdale - £25.02p/h

Our client is currently looking to hire an experienced social worker to join a child protection / court team in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have strong, statutory experience within children's services and, ideally, within a child protection team.

A Child Protection Social Worker should have experience of:

  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Relevant legislation
  • Holding complex cases
  • Working with children on Child Protection Plans, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Child protection and care proceedings
  • Attending court
  • Preparing court reports
  • Working with new Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Section 47s
  • Core assessments
  • Child protection meetings
  • Case conferences

As a qualified Social Worker, you must be:

  • HCPC registered 
  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • The holder of a social work qualification
