An exciting vacancy has become available in Somerset for a Social Worker with previous statutory experience, on a Child Protection Team  
 
They will consider social workers with a variety of experience, which is ideal if you're interested in expanding your experience or moving into a new field.

  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Relevant legislation
  • Holding complex cases
  • Working with children on Child Protection Plans, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Child protection Care proceedings
  • Attending Court
  • Court Reports
  • Working with new Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Section 47s
  • Core Assessments
  • Child protection meetings
  • Case conferences
  • Attending LAC Reviews  
As a Child Protection Social Worker, You MUST be:    
  • HCPC registered     
  • Eligible to work in the UK     
  • A UK license holder  
  • Post-qualified experience 
  • Completed ASYE
