Social worker - Child Protection - Nottingham City - £28p/h

Nottingham City Council are looking to add a social worker to their child protection team. It would be beneficial if you had previous, post-qualified experience within a child protection team and a good understanding of court processes and work.

A Child Protection Social Worker will need experience of:

  • Working in a child protection capacity
  • Care proceedings  
  • Attending court & court reports
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)  
  • Section 47s
  • Child protection meetings  
  • Case conferences  
  • Chairing core group meetings  
  • Completing LAC & child protection visits     

You must be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Qualified as a social worker
