Practice Manager - Social Worker - Leaving Care Team - Lancashire - £32ph

We are currently looking for a Practice manager to join a leaving care team in Lancashire. Social workers will be expected to provide professional advice, consultancy, oversight and guidance to children's social work/social care staff working in areas of: initial assessment, child protection, children looked after, leaving care, children with disabilities [CWD], adoption and fostering. They will also be expected to support   planning and review, and safeguarding and active support across all children services care groups.

As a Social Worker you will have previous experience:

  • Co-ordinate and integrate team activities, including overseeing joint delivery of multi agency arrangements, anticipating and responding to change that will impact upon service delivery
  • Identify ways to improve practice, operations, performance and efficiency
  • Instil a culture of customer focus, embedded in a confident learning culture supported by effective supervision and appraisal
  • Promote equality and diversity to make sure that all children young people and families are treated with dignity and respect when receiving children's services

As a Social Worker will be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
