Social Workers & Senior Social Workers - Safeguarding - Cambridgeshire - up to £32p/h

Cambridgeshire Council are looking to hire social workers and senior social workers to their children's services safeguarding team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for flexibility in their role as the council are offering two different offices to work from (Cambridge or Cambridgeshire South) as well as the opportunity to negotiate start and finish times.

As part of a Children's Safeguarding Team, you will be:

  • Conducting core assessments
  • Working with children who are the subject of child protection plans
  • Taking on court work
  • Managing cases where children are the subject of care proceedings
  • Working to safeguard children under the child protection or court frameworks. 

Essential requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Previous, post-qualified experience in children's services
  • Social work qualification
  • A full UK license holder
  • HCPC registration
