Senior Social Worker - Duty and Assessment - Dudley - £29.93p/h

A qualified senior social worker is required to join Dudley's children's services duty and assessment team. This is an opportunity to work alongside other dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an effective, child-centred service to children in need of support and protection.

Your responsibilities as a Duty & Assessment Social Worker include:

  • Engaging children/young people through a variety of direct work methods
  • Holding more complex cases
  • Understanding children's safeguarding processes
  • Carrying out court work
  • Managing a varied and complex case load
  • Writing concise, fit for purpose reports/court statements 
  • Working as part of an effective team
  • Inputting into children’s services data systems (Mosaic; ICS)

You will need to have:

  • HCPC registration 
  • A social work qualification
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
