Team Manager - Duty and Assessment - Blackpool - £40p/h

A team manager is needed in a duty and assessment team in Blackpool. You will be responsible for the screening and outcomes of contacts and referrals to children's social care to ensure consistent thresholds are applied in line with our continuum of need. You will need to have previous management experience within a children's services team either as a team manager or assistant team manager.

As a Children's Services Team Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Screening referrals 
  • The outcomes of cases
  • Chairing strategy meetings
  • Building working relationships with other partner agencies
  • Discuss next steps of managing risk
  • Monitor performance of team
  • Give feedback
  • Monitor and improve social work practice

You will need to have:

  • HCPC registration 
  • A social work qualification
  • Experience in social work management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
