Social Worker - Child Protection - Lancashire - Up to £30ph

A child protection social worker is required to join Halton children's services child protection team. The successful candidate will have solid safeguarding and child protection experience as well as confidence when dealing with court proceedings. As a child protection social worker you must be flexible and be able to work under pressure. Due to the nature of the role candidates must have front line post-qualifying experience in child protection services.

As a Child Protection Social Worker, you will be:

  • Working directly with children
  • A part of care proceedings  
  • Attending court & writing court reports  
  • Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)  
  • Completing section 47s  
  • Child protection meetings  
  • Case conferences  
  • Chairing core group meetings  
  • Completing LAC & child protection visits     

You will need to have:

  • HCPC registration
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
