Social Workers/Senior Social Workers - Court Team - Hillingdon - £32,628 - £41,025p/a

We are looking for dedicated and skilled social workers to join our client's dynamic court, looked after children and leaving care service in a social worker or senior social work position. 

If you are passionate about providing good quality services to vulnerable children and families and keen to join the team, you'll need to be flexible, highly motivated, an effective communicator with a non-judgemental approach and able to build trust with families and partners. 

Good IT and organisational skills are also key attributes which you will need in order to work in a paper free environment and make good use of our technology.

In a Leaving Care / LAC Court Service you will need to:

  • Provide written reports, in a variety of different formats as required by the receiver of the court
  • Work within court directed timescales
  • Be responsible for a complex case load of children and young people
  • Conducting a range of assessments whilst listening to the views of the people you're supporting
  • Using best practice and ensuring all legislative requirements are met
  • Delivering quality children's plans in a pro-active and timely manner
  • Empower children, young people and their families/carers by listening to their views

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience in court work
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • To be a qualified social worker
  • Registration with the HCPC
