Team Manager - Looked After Children - Telford - £39.07 per hour

We are currently looking for a Social Worker to join a Children in Care team. The CIC team a mixed case load of care proceedings in court and long term children in care. Ideally candidates should be experienced in both areas of work although consideration would be given if not experienced in one area.

Duties of the Role:

  • managing case load of children young people in care 
  • subject to section 20 & 31 for care orders
  • attending review of arrangement pep meetings & visits to the child 
  • managing crisis 
  • role may include some travel to visit people out of county 
  • providing reports to decision making panels and advocating on behalf of the panels   

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC reigstration
  • Eligbility to work in the UK
  • Post-qualified experience
