Children's Social Worker - Care Management - Permanent - Dudley - up to £36,740p/a

We are currently partnered with Dudley Council in the West Midlands to provide social workers to their children's services care management team. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive and engaging authority. As a Social Worker within a Care Management Team you will:

  • Provide an efficient and cost effective service to young people
  • Make sure all service users have a professional and comprehensive pathway plan and risk assessment  
  • Investigate, evaluate and analyse information on cases
  • Ensure adequate recording that evidences practice
  • Develop practice which takes a holistic view of the individual
  • Need to be familiar with Equal Opportunities, good practice and the Council requirements for diversity
  • Ensure that all case management complies with the statutory requirements
  • Ensure the team manager is kept fully appraised of problems arising from workload
  • Attend reviews, various meetings and court when/if required for each case

You will be:

  • A qualified social worker qualified with a good level of experience in working in a children and families setting
  • Experienced in court work
  • Registered with the HCPC
