Team Manager - Children's Assessment Service - Permanent - Dudley - up to £48,414p/a

A qualified Social Work Team Manager is needed to join Dudley's Children's Assessment Service. Our client is looking for a dedicated social worker who has recent experience in an Assistant Team Manager or Team Manager role within Children's Social Services.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high standards of social care is given to Dudley children & families
  • Having excellent communication skills
  • Making sure your service meets agreed levels of care and targets
  • Being a part of complex case decisions 
  • Liaising with other professionals and/or statutory agencies
  • Providing professional support and guidance for social workers in your team
  • Supporting colleagues as part of a duty system

You must have:

  • HCPC registration  
  • Previous management experience within a children's social services team
  • Eligibility to work in the UK  
  • A social work degree or equivalent
