As a Permanence Social Worker, you will be:

  • Managing a case load of children who are looked after by the local authority 
  • Supporting looked after children
  • Making plans for permanence
  • Considering the wishes of the child
  • Acting as their Corporate Parent on behalf of the local authority
  • Undertaking statutory duties including visits and review meetings 
  • Maintaining up to date case recordings  

Requirements of this role:

  • Social work degree or equivalent 
  • Eligibility to work in the UK & HCPC registration
  • Experience in Children's Social Services
  • Must have completed the ASYE
