Senior Social Worker - Children's Duty and Assessment - Nottinghamshire - Up to £35 per hour

Based in Arnold

My client in Nottinghamshire are ideally looking for an experienced social worker to start ASAP on their Duty and Assessment team. The hiring manager is looking to interview immediately so please do not hesitate to apply if you’re interested. The successful Social Worker must have plenty of previous experience in children’s front line services.

Duties Include:

  • Initial/Core Assessments
  • Section 17s, Section 7s and Section 47s
  • Attending Children in Need Meetings
  • Attending Pre Birth Conferences
  • Supervised contact
  • Child protection visits
  • Pre Birth Assessments
  • Risk Assessments
  • Court and Welfare Reports
  • Court Attendance
  • Liaising with other agencies
  • Conference and core group work
  • Looked after Children placements
Essential Requirements:
  • HCPC registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Post-qualified experience
