Registered Manager - Fostering Agency - Herefordshire - £42 per hour

My client in Herefordshire has an urgent requirement for a registered manager to join their Independent Fostering Agency. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a thriving Fostering Agency. The Registered Manger will be accountable for the strategic planning and development aspects of fostering resources and support functions in the agency. As well as working in accord with the policies and procedures.

Main Aims of the Role:

  • Recruitment, retention and supervision of carers
  • Matching of children to placements
  • Management of the service and supervision of staff
  • Information Security

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a social work qualification
  • Extensive post qualifying experience in working with children and families’ services
  • In depth experience of working within a fostering service for children
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • The desired applicant will possess a high level and detailed working knowledge
  • of relevant legislation and the impact on the fostering service.
