Team Manager - Children and Families - Wolverhampton - £39.07p/h

Wolverhampton Council are looking to hire a Social Work qualified Team Manager to lead a Children and Families Team. They are looking for someone who has previous management experience of a Children's Social Work team and has a good grasp of managing budgets.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high standards of social care is given to Dorchester children
  • Having excellent communication skills
  • Making sure your service meets agreed levels of care and targets
  • Being a part of complex case decisions 
  • Liaising with other professionals and/or statutory agencies
  • Providing professional support and guidance for social workers in your team
  • Supporting colleagues as part of a duty system

You must have:

  • A social work qualification
  • Previous management experience of a social care team
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and HCPC registration
