We are partnered with Herefordshire County Council to recruit for an Advanced Practitioner position within their Children's Court Team. They will consider candidates with a range of experience and this is a great opportunity to join a progressive authority whose priority is to keep children safe and give them a great start in life.

The successful candidate will have extensive statutory experience / knowledge of:

  • Liaising with other professionals    
  • Relevant and recent changes in legislation    
  • Working with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Attending court 
  • Working with the Public Law Outline (PLO)    
  • Single assessments    
  • Chairing Child Protection conferences     
  • Child Protection meetings    
  • Case conferences    

As a Children's Social Worker, you must be:

  • Qualified with HCPC registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A UK Driving license holder 
  • Experienced in Court and have completed the ASYE
