In your role within the Safeguarding Team, you will be:

  • Delivering and providing professional social work services to children, young people and families
  • Ensuring the welfare of children and young people is safeguarded and they are protected in accordance with the legal and statutory obligations of Children First Northamptonshire
  • Providing practical and social work support for children, young people and families
  • Holding a complex caseload
  • Undertaking assessments
  • Visiting children and their families
  • Carrying out interventions and reviewing the work undertaken

You must be/have:

  • Qualified as a social worker
  • Completed the ASYE
  • Experienced in children's services
  • HCPC registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
