Team Manager - MASH - Permanent - Northamptonshire - £42,527 - £49,968p/a + market rate supplement

A Social Work Team Manager is currently needed for a MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Service in Northamptonshire. You will be joining an innovative county council that has a fresh, energetic approach. Your role as Team Manager within the MASH Service will include:

  • Working with multi-agency partners and using Signs of Safety
  • Leading a social care team and ensuring that all children's outcomes are improved and that they are safeguarded effectively
  • Being responsible for ensuring the prioritisation and screening of work across your team
  • Demonstrating your expert practice in complex situations when making decisions and managing higher levels of risk
  • Being responsible for recruiting, supervising and appraising your team, ensuring all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with others, developing and maintaining partnerships and multi-agency working

You must be:

  • A qualified Social Work professional
  • HCPC registered with significant post-qualifying experience of child protection
  • Able to demonstrate significant experience of decision making and risk management in complex situations
  • An experienced leader, with experience of managing the performance of individuals and teams
