Social Worker - Assessment - Hertfordshire - Up to £42,306 Per Annum

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced social worker for a role within a children's assessment team for a client based in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate should have significant senior level frontline experience within a safeguarding team and have highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice.

The successful candidate will have a key role in researching and sharing up to date social work practice whilst creating a clear vision for the future and ensuring the best outcomes for children and their families are realised.

Duties of this Assessment Role:

* Ability to undertake child protection investigations and assessments of risk/need, for cases which meet agreed threshold
* Work closely with adult's specialists to develop creative multi-disciplinary care plans for children who are subject to child protection or child in need plans
* Inform the team manager when they consider care/PLO proceedings may need to be initiated

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
