Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team - Hertfordshire - Up to £48,683 Per Annum

Liquid Personnel are currently looking for a qualified and experienced social worker to take on the role of consultant social worker in a family safeguarding team for a client based in Herefordshire. The family safeguarding team work together to provide a service to the whole family and support them to make changes in their day-to-day lives in the best interests of the children and their families.

Duties of this Social Work Role:

* Working in many different ways, offering advice and support to help parents set their own goals
* Helping towards achieving changes which will improve parents' lives to allow children to grow and develop within their own families
* Working with and supporting families to understand why social workers are involved
* Supporting parents in making the necessary changes in the various issues families can face such as: domestic violence, substance and alcohol misuse as well as mental health difficulties
* Aiming to keep families together safely; improving the health and educational achievements of their children and reducing emotional, physical harm and neglect within families

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
